Jerry started working on boats at his family’s dealership at the age of 12 and became proficient at working on both outboard engines and inboards/stern drives.  In addition, he spent considerable time working on wooden boats built in the 50’s and 60’s, refinishing boat from bare wood to mahogany Chris Crafts.  Jerry attended Mercury technician school, and has toured numerous boat manufacturing facilities across the United States.

Jerry has worked for a variety of Marine dealers since his career began, in service and sales departments.  He founded Columbia Basin Marine Survey in 1999 and has surveyed countless boats during that time.  With over 65 years of experience, Jerry is often called upon for his extensive knowledge of marine vessels.  Jerry brought Hunter Poire into the business and considers him to be a valuable asset to the marine business.
